What: Graduation Ceremony
When: 17th of June 2009
Where: Luzern Casino
.
.
Instructed to gather in the morning, the school was a mass of students in black robes by the time I went out of my room. Girls were exceptionally dolled up and guys were exceptionally tidy and neat. It was unspoken but the relief that everyone was feeling on that day was obvious. Relieved that all the projects, mugging, massive research and typing for dissertations and anxious awaiting of results were finally over.

Everyone was looking like a witch or wizard that had just stepped out of the Harry Potter series with their robes. I tell u, the robes were easy to put on, but the... er... I have no idea whats that called, but the colour thingy we were supposed to put over our robes, that was the tricky one. I seriously have no idea (until now) how it is supposed to go on.

In the end, Stella, Dawn and me resorted to using safety pins to pin the robe and the thingy to our blazer. But guess what, we were told to take them off when we got in, because it will be put on us during the ceremony. What a total waste of our time afixing it. Dammit.
.
.
I honestly have no idea how long the ceremony lasted. It was quite fun because of the numerous 'creative' cheering of nicknames when individuals were called up. I am gonna skip posting any pictures of the ceremony.
Naturally, everyone headed out for pictures pictures and more pictures after the ceremony. Of course there were people who were just so anxious to throw their graduation hats that they resorted to hosting their own 'two people throwing hats ceremony' (ahem.. talking in particular about the two people in the picture below).
.

.
Families and friends of many were present.
Not mine though.
Not even Fat Ninja.
:(
And of course, we did not fail to take our 'Five People Group Photo'.
.
.
All the Bachelors Holders then gathered to throw our hats together.
Totally amusing.
It was fun.
But messy.
Most parents holding the cameras did not manage to catch a good photo of us throwing.
And...
Everyone was just so concern about locating their hats in fear of the Housekeeping-in-Charge.
.

.
Right after that, the SIM group held our own hat throwing ceremony.
We gathered, took a group photo and then threw.
As you can see, Stella was so excited.
She threw even before everyone else was ready.
And got caught red handed on the camera.
Classic.
.

.
Then we did it another time.
This time, the jump shot was perfectly easy.
Why?
Only five people.
Everyone fits into the camera without being hidden or cut off.
And, there was enough space to jump and kick ass in the air.
Perfect.
So fun.
.
.
Then was photo taking, photo taking and more photo taking.
With people whom I went through this semester with, be it having lessons, studying, partying or drinking.
Especially my drinking kakis.
Didn't manage to take photos with all of them though.
Pity.
.
.
It was a perfect day for the event.
Clear skies.
Beautiful scenery.
Everyone was all smiles.
Especially the two couples below.
.
.
Me?
No Fat Ninja around that day.
Its ok.
I made merry with the free flow of beer.
.
.
So I am now, offically a graduate.
Holding a degree in 'Bachelors in Hotel and Events Management'.
